We were the first to implement strength training as both a fitness and weight loss tool.  When you lift weights you lose weight.  More important, The Firm Advantage Fitness was one of the first fitness companies to incorporate the equal importance of nutrition in a weight loss routine.  We educate clients in the basics of healthy nutrition and its key to their success at losing weight and keeping it off for a lifetime.  

 

Over the past 20 years our clients have discovered the advantage of a fit body through strength training and nutrition awareness. When you add the weights  - weight comes off.  When you know what to eat and why you are eating it, you begin to make smarter choices that become part of your lifestyle change.

The Firm Advantage Fitness began in December of 1992 with the goal of helping everybody and every body achieve healthy weight loss and fitness goals. We educate everyday people and give them the tools they need to achieve fitness success. The Firm Advantage Fitness got its name from the basic truth that the benefit of dense, strong muscles gives you the advantage in weight loss over 'starve yourself' routines. Adding weights helps you lose weight!! Back then it was a novel idea.  Today everyone knows strength training is the partner to successful/healthy weight loss.
